2022-now
Became the first RCM-certified academy.
Expanded the teaching team to 16 members.
Held 2 special concerts at Berkeley Music School.
The Van String Orchestra performed a total of 93 concerts.
Guided 213 students through RCM exams.
Produced 8 CMC winners.
Achieved 229 winners in the Gocaa international competition.
Invited Pala and Muthum from the Juilliard School to host a masterclass.
Students received 30 offers from prestigious universities
2020-2021
After the pandemic began, we conducted online classes for two consecutive years.
During this time, we established the C & K Music Mom Club.
2013 - 2019
We organized a 9-hour non-stop concert at Carnegie Hall, featuring performances for the Beijing Soong Ching Ling Foundation and the North American Golden Panda Film Festival.
We held 4 special concerts at UBC and in Wuchuan, China.
We held 6 sessions of the Teach China program.
The Van String Orchestra team performed 226 concerts.
We guided 484 students through the RCM exams.
We produced 28 CMC winners.
We also had 486 Kiwanis winners.
Our students received a total of 67 offers from prestigious schools.
2009 - 2012
Conducted 4 sessions of the Teach China program.
Van String Orchestra performed a total of 106 concerts.
Guided 236 students through the RCM exams.
Produced 18 CMC winners.
Had 263 Kiwanis winners.

2005 - 2008
Between 2005 and 2008, we expanded the team to 8 members.
During this time, a total of 75 students became Kiwanis winners and 64 students became RCM candidates.
Students Belle Ting, Frank Lin, and 8 others earned the top spot in the CMC competition.
In 2008, we established the Van String Orchestra and the Teach China volunteer team.
