Our team of esteemed coaches includes Lucas Wong, a Doctor of Music from Yale University and one of Canada’s top 30 pianists. Winnie He holds a Master of Music, bringing extensive knowledge and experience to our students. Kevin Wei is a talented cellist and composer, further enriching our instructional team.
The Van Trio has made a significant impact by securing first place in the Gocaa Global Competition in 2023, continuing their success since 2021. The EKOH Cello Octet, Vancouver’s only cello octet, has been established for six years. All of its graduates have been accepted into top universities worldwide, and the group has performed at numerous prestigious events, including CCTV, the Golden Panda Film Festival, and Phoenix TV since 2017.
Additionally, the Piano Ten-Hands Ensemble, founded in 2018, hosts approximately five dedicated concerts each year. Furthermore, our Quartet and Octet have been recognized as award winners in the Kiwanis Competition for sixteen consecutive years.
